  • Connect with our faculty and staff to discuss your child's goals and learning style.

  • Observe our classrooms in action and explore spaces designed for creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Gain insight into our programs that build strong academics, leadership skills, and readiness for high school and beyond.

Application

  • Complete new student enrollment application and submit.

  • Remit $100 application fee

  • Submit a copy of your child's birth certificate to verify age

  • Please note: Submitting an application is not a guarantee of admittance until all components of enrollment have been evaluated.

Assessment

  • Student assessment (reading and math) facilitated by one of our experienced, NC certified teachers

  • Assurance that students' needs can and will be met

  • Average assessment time is 30-45 minutes.

Admittance

Our admissions committee carefully reviews each application to ensure Walton Academy is the right fit for your child. Families are provided with a tuition agreement upon acceptance to outline costs, payment options, and enrollment commitments.

  • Student assessment to understand academic readiness and learning needs

  • Teacher recommendation from a current or previous educator

  • Cumulative records from prior schools (Grades 1–8)

  • Behavior observations to support a positive learning environment

  • Long-term intent to remain enrolled through multiple grade levels
